On the dirty minds of people ||
People are dirty minded. Inherently. It’s what I love about them. And the closer you are to them, the dirtier they get. One of the few things that makes this disease bearable is that it’s good for a lot of laughs – if you don’t take yourself too seriously. Anyone who knows me understands I could never be accused of being too serious. For my entire adult life I’ve worked in client facing roles. Acct Management. Project Management. Inside Sales. Full on Sales. I’m a ‘people person.’ An extrovert. I’d been with my current firm for over 15 years.
One of my clients was a guy who worked for a large studio. I won’t mention the name, but trust me, you’ve watched hundreds of their movies and probably subscribe to their streaming service. He’s taken me to one of the best Thai food restaurants in the country – so I love this dude.
Hadn’t seen him in about a year because he’s based out in Cali. In the time since I had seen him, my eyebrows fell out. It was a shock to him to say the least.
When I walked into the room, he looked at me and kindof squinted and gave me that, “what’s different about you?” look. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
“I have no eyebrows. Alopecia. All my hair fell out.”
He stopped and moved his hand over his groin, and moving it in a circular motion continued, “Even??”
Yup. ALL OF IT. 🙂
